Ana Borges is the founder and CEO of Ana Borges Interiores. She has a degree in Art History but it was her passion – Decoration – that led her to create the company, in 1997. Photography and traveling occupy her free time.
Empathetic, persevering, extroverted and communicative, she is always open to new trends. Creating elegant, harmonious, functional and comfortable spaces is what she most enjoys doing.
This project of a Dutch house, in the heart of Utrecht, was special for us because of the couple’s beautiful story.
In a first visit to the property in the Netherlands, all the measurements were taken and in a work conducted remotely, the choices of furniture, fabrics, wallpaper for all rooms of this 5-story house were made.
In order to adapt the decoration to the more classic style of Dutch architecture, the living room fabrics in golden tones give a touch of refinement and the velvet details in the blue chairs bring life to this space.
The couple’s bedroom in very sober brown and beige tones gains light with champagne-colored furniture and its curved lines bring more softness to the environment.
Eva’s room, furnished with pieces from her mother’s room as a child, became worthy of a princess with the custom-made blinds, pillows and bedspreads, and the final touch was the antique chair upholstered with pink velvet.
We were present at the delivery of the material sent from Portugal and we conducted all the assembly in situ, so that everything would be to the clients’ taste, which deserved all our dedication.
