This interior architecture and decoration project of a 4 storey semi-detached family home in Caxias, required a total renovation.
Originally the two lower ground floors were poorly lit and under-utilised.
The external wall of the -2 floor was demolished and new sliding windows were installed in its place, giving access to the garden and allowing natural light into the space, as well as a view for the external area and the swimming pool. On that same floor level a kitchen, living and dining rooms were created.
On the -1 floor a shared bedroom for the children was designed to accommodate a playing and a storage areas.
On the ground floor, the wall between the hallway and the living room at the house main entrance was demolished where a decorative partition was built. The wall originally dividing the kitchen and the dining room was opened up and two sliding doors installed to allow more light and a better flow to the space.
Where previously were two bedrooms, the 1st floor now accommodates a spacious and light master suite with an en-suite bathroom and closet following the same concept.
